Who is Abigail Zsiga?
Abigail’s rich, melodic voice set her apart on the dance floor and earned her many international awards and accolades, including Best New Artist, Artist of the Year and Album of the year for “Feel Good”.
Abigail went on to have hits in 33 countries worldwide. Her collaboration in 1999 with acclaimed producers Thunderpuss, brought about the anthem “Let The Joy Rise” and also gained Abigail her first Billboard #1 hit with “If It Don’t Fit”. She followed that success with another chart topper, “You Set Me Free” released on Groovilicious Records. “Let The Joy Rise” had a fabulous overhaul in 2015 by top remixers Toy Armada and DJ Grind and has just been awarded Dance Track of the Year at Justcircuit.com.
In more recent years, in addition to her club music, Abigail has been writing, recording and performing a much more stripped down acoustic style of music that allows her voice to be showcased to it’s fullest and captures her audience with it’s haunting and honest expression. In 2004 she released her acoustic album “Home…again” to much critical acclaim, the lead single “Better With You” becoming a radio favorite and was licensed for the TV show “Royal Pains”.
Abigail is currently enjoying her 6th Billboard chart success with her most recent offering, “February (Our Last Kiss)”. Co-written and produced by DJ Joe Gauthreaux, “February” is an emotional peak hour anthem about lost love and trying to hold onto those last moments. Remixes are provided by some of the best names in the industry including Rich B, Luque & Thiago, Sven Kirchoff and Matt Consola & Leo Frappier.
This song is currently blazing a trail straight up the charts and will no doubt take Abigail back to where she belongs - #1!
