Abigail Zsiga at The Space, Hamden, CT.
w/Green Inside, Steven Gaspar

Doors at 7 PM, music at 7:30

Abigail is rock skipped across the pond to Hamden. That is to say, this singer/songwriter is a UK transplant to the US, her landing somehow coinciding with the opening of The Space. Abigail - like Sam Shaber - is also making her second appearance at The Space, going from open mic to full bill.

Abigail's voice is a monstrously powerful tool that covers a wide scale of subtlety and prominence, with soulful songwriting to match. Like many artists nowadays, Abigail is trying to rebuild and transform an ailing music industry with a combination of independence, self-sufficiency and belief, while raising the bar in the area of songwriting content and performance. Keeping it real, though, and keeping it local,

Green Inside's own Steve Tobey (drums) and Tim Sway (bass) join her in her recording and live ventures. The band will be doing its own set of super rock funk pop (in a non-alcoholic venue!) that evening before Abigail's set.
